Roof replacement is one of the most significant investments you'll make in your home — and it deserves to be done correctly. Dons Roofing Repair has completed over 4,800 roof replacement projects across Makawao, HI since 2008, developing an efficient, professional process that minimizes disruption while delivering superior, lasting results.
We begin every replacement project with a comprehensive assessment of your existing roof, decking condition, attic ventilation, and drainage system. This allows us to identify any underlying issues that need correction before installation — preventing premature failures and ensuring your investment performs as expected for its full rated lifespan.
We begin with material selection, walking you through every available option for your home's style, budget, and performance requirements. We pull all required building permits and provide a precise written timeline before any work begins. On installation day, our crew performs complete teardown and disposal of the existing roofing, inspects and repairs the deck as needed, installs proper underlayment and ice and water shield, and applies your chosen material with manufacturer specifications followed precisely.
Every installation concludes with a magnetic nail sweep of all surrounding areas, complete debris removal, a final quality inspection, and full documentation for warranty registration. Most residential replacements in Makawao, HI are completed in one to two days.
Storm damage, hail, and wind events often make roof replacement eligible for insurance coverage.
